Prolongation sign/mark is found whenever the following word begins with still letter and here Sād ending with sound of still "Daal" in pronunciation. As a numeral, it denotes 90-reflecting the entire range from 0 to 9. Its head part is used in Grand Qur'aan as a sign to suggest linkage in recitation];
