dbpprop:abstract | توضیحات سوره به انگلیسی | Surat Al-Qasas (Arabic: سورة القصص) (The Stories) is the 28th sura of the Qur'an with 88 ayat.According to Syed Maududi's commentary, the Surah takes its name from verse 25 in which the word Al-Qasas occurs. Lexically, qasas means to relate events in their proper sequence. Thus, from the view- point of the meaning too, this word can be a suitable title for this Surah, for in it the detailed story of the Prophet Moses has been related.

wtlabprop:persianAbstract | توضیحات سوره به فارسی | در اين سوره، قصههائى از ولادت موسى تا نبوتش و مبارزهاش با فرعون و نجات بنى اسرائيل از استضعاف، و نيز زراندوزى قارون و سرنوشت تلخش، بيان شده است. اين سوره كه قبل از هجرت در مكه نازل شده (حدود سال 11 بعثت) در دوره سختى و شدت و رنج مسلمانان، مقايسهاى است با شدائد بنى اسرائيل در چنگ فرعون، و نويدى است براى پيروزى و وراثت زمين و امامت تاريخ و شكست طاغوتها. داستان موسى و فرعون، در اينجا نقش سمبوليك خود را در نشاندادن مبارزه دائمى حق و باطل و پيروزى نهائى حق، بخوبى ايفا مىكند. كلمه «قصص» در آيه 25 آمده، آنجا كه دختر شعيب، پيش پدر از كمك موسى به آنها در كشيدن آب از چاه براى گوسفندان شعيب، تعريف كرده و آن قصه را بازگو مىكند. از آيه 76 به بعد از روش زراندوزى و تكبر قارون انتقاد شده و سرنوشت مذلت بار و فرو رفتن او را در زمين بيان مىكند. اين سوره 88 آيه دارد.
